Rosie Dexter is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based near Stroud in the UK.

Growing up in rural Gloucestershire with a delight in creativity equalled by an appreciation of nature, Rosie studied conservation biology and ecology (BSc hons 2009) and wildlife disease management (MbyRes 2011). Whilst loving being immersed in the natural world on a daily basis, whether vaccinating badgers against TB or surveying farmland, Rosie found her drive to make meaningful art just would not be satisfied with remaining in the background, and followed her heart into illustration.

Combining scientific training and an insatiable creative spark gives Rosie an imaginative approach to illustration with an attention to detail. She especially loves to work quickly in watercolours and ink, incorporate characterful hand-lettering, and bring these together with good clean design.

She also loves a pot of tea, sports of all kinds, and climbing trees with her daughters.

Rosie is particularly interested in projects that have the potential to make a positive impact for people and nature.
